CLASSIC CLAPTON appeared at The Legends of Rock Festival. The festival lasted 3 days, CLASSIC CLAPTON performed on Saturday 10th March 2012. This was an amazing gig. 1,600 rock fans packed into the venue to enjoyed non-stop quality rock.
In total 26 original & tribute bands performed over 3 days - 9, 10 & 11 March. All of the tribute bands are leaders in their own field & try to give their fans an experience as close to the original as possible.
CLASSIC CLAPTON performed a set of around 80 minutes including all of EC's classic songs including Wonderful Tonight, Crossroads, I Shot The Sheriff, Cocaine and of course Layla! The band received a rapturous reception.
On the Saturday other tribute bands covered artistes including The Rolling Stones, Thin Lizzy, Foreigner, Journey & Led Zeppelin.The standard of musicianship was very high.
